I was born and raised in Cedar Falls, Iowa — and still consider this city home.
I was given my first camera when I was 8 years old. It was a pink point and shoot that fit in the palm of my hand. I was captivated. Obsessed, really. Unbeknownst to me, that little pink Polaroid would be the beginning of my infatuation. I became enchanted with light and color.
There is romance woven in nature. There are songs and symphonies that we cannot hear, but are only seen with our eyes — glimpses of heaven in the real world. Creation is filled with elegant beauty, vibrant color, and alluring curiosity. We must only pause long enough to see it; because in the right light, anything can be extraordinary.
I believe there is beauty woven into every soul — intentionally crafted by the Father. My heart is for the stolen kisses, the hopeless romantics, the minutes that feel like eternity, the dreamers, the dancers, and the poets.
My work creates heirlooms — something you can cherish and pass down through the years. I aim to capture the genuine and the authentic. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, and my job is to prove it to you.
